. Robert “Bob” Bradshaw, 70, of Odenton, MD passed away peacefully on June 22, 2025. Born on July 11, 1954 in Washington, DC to the late J. Douglas and Alcena Bradshaw, Bob grew up in Silver Spring, MD. He attended St. Francis Prep High School in Pennsylvania before receiving his bachelor’s degree from Lynchburg College in Virginia. He then went on to receive his Masters of Business Administration from Central Michigan University. Following graduation, Bob worked at Citizens Bank of Maryland and later as V.P. of Sales at Prince George’s Realty. After marrying, he and his beloved wife Anne moved to St. Thomas, U.S.V.I., where Bob worked as Controller at Frenchman’s Reef Hotel. After returning to Davidsonville, Bob worked at Stern’s Office Furniture in Washington, DC. He then became V.P. of Sales and eventually an owner of Maryland Office Interiors (M.O.I.), retiring in 2000. Dedicated to community involvement, Bob served on the boards of the Davidsonville Athletic Association (D.A.A.), the Davidsonville Civic Association (D.A.C.A.), Archbishop Spalding High School, Kings Retreat Homeowners Association, and the Anne Arundel County Arts Council. He was appointed by Governor Larry Hogan to the Chesapeake Bay Council and the Board of Maryland Parks. He was named “Citizen of the Year” by Anne Arundel County for the Crofton area. He also worked with County Executive Janet Owens to develop Davidsonville Park; the road into the park is named “Bob Bradshaw Way”. Bob is survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Anne Bradshaw; his children, Meghan Bradshaw (Mike) of Washington, DC, Patrick Bradshaw (Lydia) of Richmond Hill, GA, and Jay Bradshaw (Lillian) of Pittsburgh, PA; and six grandchildren. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Bob’s life on Sunday, June 29 from 5 to 7 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD 21037. Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Monday, June 30 at 10:30 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD 21035. Interment will be private.
