Bob Faithy A. Emwanta - Obituary

r. Bob Faithy Emwanta of District Heights, Maryland passed away on June 28, 2016. Bob was born on December 24, 1954 in Benin City, Nigeria and immigrated to the United States in 1974. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from High Point University, NC and PhD from Howard University, Washington DC. Bob worked with the DC Department of Energy and Environment as an Environmental Protection Specialist from 1999-2013. Bob was an avid lover of Benin culture and history and an NBA fan. He is survived by his loving wife, three sons, daughter, grand-daughter, daughter-in-law, brothers, sisters, and many relatives. Friends may call on Saturday, July 23, 2016 at Mount Calvary Catholic Church, 6700 Marlboro Pike, Forestville, MD from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11 a.m. A repast to follow Mass. Interment in Nigeria on July 30, 2016.
