Bobbie Ann King, 82, a 32-year resident of Davidsonville, MD, died at Anne Arundel Medical Center on November 10, 2023.  Born September 4, 1941 to the late George Robert and Ruth Maloney Tilden, she worked as a bookkeeper for a local excavation company. Bobbie loved life, and outside of her family and friends, her love of tennis came next, she loved playing tennis, watching tennis, talking about tennis, and keeping up her health in order to play more tennis. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Francis "Sonny" King; and her daughter, Shari Terpening.  Bobbie is survived by her two sons, Wade and David Steeley; her sister, Jeanne Coughlin of Franklin, MA; her four grandchildren, Pattrick Thomasen, Jenna and Jessica Steeley, and Krystal Painter; and her great-grandchildren, Seth Brown, Syvannah Taylor, Jordan Steeley and Jaelynn Bunnell. Friends are invited to celebrate Bobbie's life on Tuesday, November 14 from 3 to 5 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD where her funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 15 at 11 am. Interment will follow at Davidsonville United Methodist Church Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to JDRF Diabetes Foundation, P.O. Box 5021, Hagerstown, MD 21741.
