oyd Ingram, 92, a longtime resident of Harwood, MD died on September 26, 2010 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis, MD of natural causes. Born December 9, 1917 in Buckhorn, KY, he was employed as a farm manager for Larking Hill Farm in Harwood, MD for 25 years. Boyd served in the U.S. Army during WWII, including a tour at Ft. Robinson in Crawford, NE as part of the Cavalry Division. He was an avid sports fan, especially the Redskins and the University of Kentucky Basketball. He was the beloved husband of Norma Lee Ingram, whom he married on January 21, 1941; father of Boyd Bennett (Juanita) Ingram of Lenexa, KS, Emma Lee (Bill) Berry of Brightwood, VA and Debra (Bruce) Angevine of Riva, MD; brother of James G. Ingram of Jackson, KY. Also survived by 5 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Friends are invited to Boyd’s Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Wednesday, September 29 from 12:30pm until time of funeral service begins at 1:30pm. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
