Brian Hendricks - Obituary

rian Michael Hendricks, 21, a lifelong resident of Annapolis died April 22 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. Born March 4, 1991 in Annapolis, he graduated from Broadneck High School, attended Anne Arundel Community College and was currently in IPC Apprentice School. Brian was employed as an electrical apprentice with Bausum & Duckett, Inc. He enjoyed snowboarding, boating, jet skiing, skateboarding, basketball and softball, and loved the beach. Brian will be remembered for having a big heart. He lived life by the motto: "every day is a gift". He is survived by his mother, Jeannine Hendricks and her fiance Mark Hurley of Annapolis and his children Mark, Desirae & Joey Hurley; his father, Scott Hendricks of Annapolis; grandparents, Gil and Judy Collinson of Edgewater, Terry Hendricks of Annapolis and Ed Hendricks of Arnold; and sister, Natalie Hendricks of Annapolis; Relatives and friends are invited to Brian's Life Celebration from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. on Thursday, April 26 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. A funeral service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, April 27 at Calvary United Methodist Church, 301 Rowe Boulevard, Annapolis. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Brian's name to the Broadneck Bruins Athletic Booster Club, 1265 Green Holly Drive, Annapolis, MD 21409.
