rother James Frank Adams January 24, 1930 – January 14, 2015 “My Sheep listen to my voice: I know them and they follow me. I give the eternal life, and they shall never perish; no one can snatch them out of my hand.” (John 10:27-28) James Frank Adams was born to the late John Henry and Georgia Giles Adams in Calvert County, Maryland. James departed this life peacefully on January 14, 2015 at his home surrounded by his loving wife and children and grandchildren. James grew up in Calvert County and attended the public schools. James enlisted in the U.S. Army from July 20, 1953 – June 10, 1954 serving in the Korean War. James made his living as a drywall technician/contractor. James got to be an expertise at his trade and formed his own company. He then trained and hired his brother Thurman and two other relatives Marshall Randall and Luther Randall to work with him. Later he added to his company his three sons as soon as they were old enough to work. He also taught many others his craft including his nephew Mark Adams. James have 3 sons and one daughter from his union with Dorothy Randall Adams. Later in life, James and Angelina Nemis of the Philippines were married January 9, 1987. They enjoyed 27 blissful years. James enjoyed being surrounded by his children and grandchildren and quoting to us the many scriptures of the Bible one in particular Acts 4:12, “Nor is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved.” James was a quiet and humble man but when he spoke no matter how serious his laughter would always creep in because of his choice of words. James was proceeded in death by his parents and all of his siblings. James leaves cherish memories to his loving and caring wife Angelina, three sons, ; Frankie Lee (Joann) Laufiatte (Maryanna) Martina (Donna); and one Daughter Odessa (Paul). He also leaves eight grandchildren; Troy, Corie, Kelly Anthony and Christopher. Three granddaughters; Shauna, Charmisa and Brianna; Three great-grandchildren, Troy, Chardonnay and Caiden; 5 brothers-in-law; 6 sisters and a host of family and friends. On Wednesday, January 14, 2015. Relatives and friends are invited to Brother James's Life Celebration on Friday, January 23, 2015 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD on Friday, February 6, 2015 at 11am.
