Bruce Kapitzke - Obituary

n Monday, January 19, 2015, Lt Col. Bruce L. Kapitzke (retired), 81 of Ft. Washington MD, passed away after losing his 8 year battle with cancer. He is survived by his wife Dawn of 56 years, children Leslie (Steve) and Michael (Sherry), grandchildren Sean, Kayla, Courtney, Kelsey, Kristopher, and Kendall, and great-grandson Peyton. After serving 28 years in the U.S. Air Force, he went to work in the defense industry until June of 2014. Family and friends are invited to Bruce's Life Celebration on Saturday January 24, 2015 from 4pm until time of services at 5pm at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd, Oxon Hill MD. Interment at Arlington National Cemetery at a lated date with full Military Honors. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to the American Cancer Society. Please sign the on line guest book.
