ryan Scott Boswell, 34, a twenty-five year resident of Churchton died at home on Saturday, April 26. Born September 5, 1979 in Takoma Park, Bryan was a competitive football and baseball player for South County and Southern High School teams. He was a 1997 graduate of Southern High School. Before becoming disabled, he was employed by Beers Hardwood Floors for over ten years. Bryan was an avid Redskins and Orioles fan, enjoyed watching sports, especially football, baseball and basketball and was willing to help anyone in any way he could.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Joseph and Isabella McGee and Ernest and Elsie Boswell. Surviving him are his parents, Sandra and George Burns of Churchton and Ernest Boswell; two sisters, Danielle (John) Graves of Baltimore and Lisha (Richard) Ingram of Trinity, NC; three aunts, Pat McGee, Sharon (Mike) Rushing and Connie Buckey; three uncles, Joe (Sandy) McGee, Michael McGee and Billy Boswell; one nephew, Leo Frangos; four nieces, Samantha Ingram-Saint, Courtney and Megan Graves and Laurel Leigh Frangos; also survived by many cousins.
A public viewing will be held from 3 to 5 and 7 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD where a prayer service will begin at 8pm. Funeral services will be held at 10am on Thursday in the funeral home followed by interment in Ft. Lincoln Cemetery.
