Burnette Zykes - Obituary

urnette "Reds" Lorraine Grow Zykes, 94, passed away at 5:15 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 2011 at Fort Washington Health and Rehab. Reds was born August 29, 1916 in Gaylord, Michigan, the daughter of Herbert Edwin Grow and Mary Viola Fisher Grow. She married Winslow Zykes October 1, 1936. He preceded her in death in 2003. Reds was a retired Red Cross employee. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, July 26 at 10:30 a.m. at Resurrection Cemetery in Clinton, MD. Special thanks to the staff at Fort Washington Health and Rehab for their dedicated care of Reds since 2003.
