Carole Collier - Obituary

arole Ann Collier, 67, a 20-year resident of Millersville, MD, died on Thursday, December 17, 2009 at Anne Arundel Medical Center from complications due to a long-time illness. Born on April 20, 1942 in Brunswick, MD, Carole was a graduate of Surrattsville High School in Clinton, MD. For more than 30 years, Carole worked as a draftsman with Prince George's County, Ben Dyer Associates and Chisholm Webber and Associates. In her spare time Carole enjoyed ceramics, gardening, landscaping and caring for her numerous kittens. Carole is survived by her husband, Walter G. Collier, whom she married on September 9, 1962, her son, Sean “Rocky” Collier of Sacramento, CA, her daughter, Tracy Collier of Rockville, MD and a brother, Robert Cornell of Edgewater, MD. Friends are invited to Carole's Life Celebration at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Monday from 6 to 8pm, where services will be held on Tuesday, December 29 at 12:30pm.
