arole Ann (neé Fairfield, formerly Kleinrichert) Farr passed away on June 7 in Annapolis, MD. Born on February 11, 1939, in Fort Wayne, IN, to the late Margaret (neé Stark) and Russell Fairfield, Carole attended Saint John the Baptist Catholic School and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1958. She was the Orchestra President at CC, where she played bass and organized many fundraisers for the school. Following a modeling career and a period in France, she devoted herself to raising four children during a 27-year marriage with Jule Kleinrichert in Fort Wayne and on Lake Wawasee, in Syracuse, IN. She was a dedicated mother. During this time, she was active in the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Enchanted Hills Playhouse Theatre Guild, was founding president of her own sorority (Delta Alpha Phi), taught swimming at Wawasee High School, and joined the Teamsters, driving for Banker’s Dispatch. In 1991, she relocated to Deerfield Beach, FL, where she joined the Sailing Singles of South Florida and met her husband, Bill Farr. Carole and Bill’s marriage was reaffirmed in a Catholic wedding ceremony at the Saint Thomas More Catholic Church in Boynton Beach, FL, on May 16th, 2022. They were well known for their holiday parties in Lighthouse Point and Boynton Beach. Carole loved dogs, travel, conversation, fashion, collectible glass, gardening, raising orchids, and waterfront living. She especially appreciated spending time with her family and friends. She loved meeting new people on her adventures. Although known for her frugality and bargain-hunting, she was extremely generous with both her time and her treasure. Surviving are her husband of 26 years, William Farr; a sister, Janice (neé Fairfield) Cayot; three daughters, Michelle (Richard) Binzel of Lafayette, CO; Ann (Michael) Paquin of Edgewater, MD, and Sheila (William) Polcsa of Cambridge, MA; a daughter-in-law, Anita Kleinrichert; four grandchildren, Steven (Emily) Binzel, Christine Binzel, Charles “Blane” (Caitlyn) Kleinrichert, Jr. and Spencer Kleinrichert; three great-grandchildren; and two stepsons, Roy (Becky) and Scott Farr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her former husband, Jule Kleinrichert; and a son, Charles Kleinrichert. A memorial service will be held on Monday, June 29 at 3:00 p.m. at the Kalas Funeral Home and Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD.
