atherine B. Cleaveland died on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the Charles County Hospice. Born in Washington, D.C. on November 9, 1930. Survived by her Children Jane C. Beam, Sharon C. Johnsen (Lee) and James T. Cleaveland (Marlene); Grandchildren Jesse Beam, Jenna Parker (James), Amber Acevedo (Anthony), Ryan and Hayley Cleaveland; Great Grandchildren Tristan, Devyn and Rayden Parker and Payton Acevedo. Preceded in death by her husband James L. Cleaveland, her parents William Thomas and Helen McGuire Bailey, sibling Evelyn Hazelton. Also preceded in death by three grandchildren: Chad, Rachel and Kyle Johnsen and great granddaughter Kadence Bailey Parker. Relatives and friends are invited to Kitty’s Life Celebration on Wednesday, January 10 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD and on Thursday from 10 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11 a.m at St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church, 8908 Old Branch Ave., Clinton, MD.
