Catherine Nolte Gibson - Obituary

atherine N. Gibson, 82 of Deale passed away on Friday, October 7, 2022. Catherine was born to the late George and Mildred Nolte on March 11, 1940, in Washington, D.C. She was a graduate of Southern High School. Catherine worked at the University of Maryland and then at Deale Elementary School to be closer to her daughter. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. Catherine enjoyed vacationing in Ocean City, MD, going out to dinner, animals, and spending time with her granddaughters who she adored. She always loved when her grandchildren would bring her back souvenirs from their vacations. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Leo T. Gibson. Catherine is survived by her daughter Lisa (Jason) LesCallett of Deale; granddaughters, Caitlin, Brooke, and Alison LesCallett. A Memorial Mass will be offered on Saturday, October 22, 2022, at 11 am at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church, 101 Owensville Rd., West River, MD 20778. Interment private.
