Catherine Lucile Webb - Obituary

atherine L. Webb (aka Cathy or Kay), age 77, of Falls Church, VA, passed away Sunday, December 10,2023. Born January 21, 1946 in Washington, DC, she was the daughter of the late Joseph S. and C. Virginia Thomason. She grew up in Clinton, MD and graduated from Surrattsville High School. Catherine was a legal secretary for many years, including almost 35 years at Hogan & Hartson (now Hogan Lovells). Catherine was a charter member of the Waldorf Church of God (established in 1976), now New Hope Church of God and was honored to serve in various roles over the years. Catherine is survived by her daughter, Karen L. Qutub (Alexandria, VA), and several nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Trenton Wayne Webb, and her sister, Mary Belle Thompson. A celebration of life service will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2023, at New Hope Church of God, 4200 Old Washington Road, Waldorf, MD 20602. Guests are invited to join the family at 10:00 am for visitation/viewing and 11 am for the service. Interment will be immediately following the service at Washington National Cemetery in Suitland, MD.
