atherine Franklin "Cathy" Woytovich, 74, a 53-year resident of Edgewater, died of natural causes Nov. 9 at Anne Arundel Medical Center.
Mrs. Woytovich was born Aug. 12, 1933, in Chickamauga, Ga. Before her marriage on Oct. 16, 1954, to William Woytovich, she worked for the Teachers Bureau of Mathematics in Washington, D.C. She also was employed part-time at the YMCA Camp Letts and Central Middle School.
She volunteered for many years as a Girl Scout leader and for the American Red Cross chapter house in Edgewater.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by two daughters, Lorrie Morgan of Edgewater and Karina Haley of Crofton; one brother, James Franklin of Temple City, Calif.; and two granddaughters.
Visitation is from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. tomorrow at Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. A memorial Mass will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 515 Loch Haven Road, Edgewater. Burial will be private.
