Cecelia Smith - Obituary

ecelia Ann Smith, 76, of Annapolis and formerly of Edgewater, died on Friday, April 6, 2012 at Anne Arundel Medical Center after a brief illness. Born on January 31, 1936 in Massachusetts, Cecelia was a bartender for many years, working in Prince George's County restaurants. Cecelia also worked with her son at his cleaning business, "Cleaning By Bill". Cecelia was a die-hard fan of the Washington Redskins and enjoyed playing bingo. She also loved going to yard sales, cooking, and spending time with her grandson. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harold, and her two sons, Doug and Bill Smith. She is survived by her daughter-in-law Patricia Smith and one grandson Glen Smith of Edgewater. Friends are invited to Cecelia's Life Celebration on Wednesday, April 11, 2012 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD. Burial private.
