Charles "Chuck" Wright, Jr. - Obituary

harles Edward Wright, Jr., 54, passed away on Saturday, February 12, 2022, in Annapolis, MD. Born in Baltimore, MD to the late Charles and Margaret Wilson Wright, Chuck spent many happy years with his family at their Bembe Beach home. A graduate of Archbishop Curley High School, he also attended Essex Community College and the University of Baltimore. Chuck worked briefly for the Baltimore Sun Papers and the Herring Run Park Foundation but spent the last 17 years working for Towne Park, LLC, in Annapolis where he touched many lives. Chuck was parishioner at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Baltimore and was a life-long boy scout who worked closely with Troop 87. His many passions included following the Orioles, the Ravens and the Redwoods Lacrosse team and he loved biking off road. He spent many weekends traveling the B&O Trail. Chuck is survived by his sister, Louisa (Tim) Troutner of Annapolis, MD; his nieces, Kathleen (Dave) Erb, Colleen and Megan Troutner; his nephew, Timothy Troutner and his godchildren, Patrick McCardell and Colin Kafes. Mass of the Resurrection will be offered at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 3615 Harford Rd., Baltimore, MD on Saturday, May 7 at 9:00am.
