Charles Beall - Obituary

harles Edward “Buddy” Beall, age 85, of Waldorf, MD and formerly of Bradbury Heights, Suitland and Colton’s Point, MD died on Wednesday, March 30, 2011. The sixth of eight children, Buddy was the son of the late Richard C. “Dick” Beall, Sr. and the late Olive Alsop Beall. He worked at Cedar Hill Cemetery for 50 years and in his spare time he loved going to his weekend home at Shenandoah Farms and fishing on the river and at Colton’s Point. He loved his dog Duchess and spending time with his dear friend Agnes Morgan. In addition to his parents he was proceeded in death by his wife, Mary Roy Beall; his brother, Richard C. Beall Jr. and his sisters, Eleanor “Bottie” Vance and Doris Iacone. Buddy is survived by his sisters, Margaret Adams, Marie Suit, Anne Fichera and Dorothy Bennett, 13 nieces and nephews and 11 great-nieces and great-nephews. The family will receive friends on Sunday, April 3, from 3 to 6 PM at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD where his Life Celebration will be held on Monday, April 4 at 11:00AM with the Reverend Steve Larsen of Good Shepherd United Methodist Church officiating. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, MD.
