Charles Henry Beavers, III - Obituary

harles (“Buddy”) Henry Beavers III, a 30-year resident of Davidsonville and previously of New Carrollton, MD, died on December 10, 2025, at age 90. Born on October 25, 1935, in Washington, DC, to the late Charles H. II and Teresa Beavers, he attended Suitland High School and later worked for the WSSC as a Construction Inspector from 1969 to 2000. He also worked for Rosecroft Raceway and the Maryland Jockey Club. Charles loved the Washington Redskins and enjoyed horse racing and going to the gym. He is survived by his loving wife of over 50 years, Judith Ellen (Lanham) Beavers; his children, Richard, Charles H. IV, Sharon, Lisa, and Joseph; his grandchildren, Jason, Justin, Jesse, Teressa, Casey, Adolph, Lindsay, Margaret, Edward, Elizabeth, Sophia, Mary, George, and Joseph, Jr. He is also survived by four great-grandchildren. Family and friends are invited to celebrate Charles' life on Saturday, December 20, 2025, from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at Holy Family Catholic Church, 826 W. Central Avenue, Davidsonville, MD 21035, where a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at Lakemont Memorial Gardens, Davidsonville, MD.
