n Friday, May 26, 2017, formerly of Oxon Hill, Maryland and Luray, Virginia. Beloved husband of the late Martha Bennett; father of Pamela S., William C. and Charles F. Bennett. Adopted father of Marlyn Shoup, Mike and Dale O'Brien; grandfather of William C. Jr. and Benjamin J. Bennett, William and Katherine O'Brien; brother of James Bennett. He is also survived by a host of other relatives and close friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Charles’ Celebration of Life on Friday, June 2, 2017 at 12 p.m. until time of services at 1 p.m. at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD. Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Suitland, MD.
