Charles E. Griffith - Obituary

harles E. Griffith, Jr., “Charlie”, 82, a lifelong resident of Lothian, passed away on September 30, 2020 in Washington, D.C. Charlie was born on September 6, 1938 to the late Charles E., Sr. and Rosie O’Neill Griffith. He was a graduate of Southern High School. A lifelong farmer, he also worked at Farmers National Bank in Annapolis and later owned and operated Olde Solomons Wine and Spirits in Edgewater. Charlie was a parishioner at Our Lady of Sorrows Catholic Church. His interests included; Hunting, fishing, working on the farm and watching all University of MD sports. He was the beloved husband of Charlotte Griffith, father of Charles Griffith, III and his wife Donna of Hershey, PA., brother of J. Paul Griffith, Charlotte Ann Windsor, Kathleen Moran and Frances Collinson. He is also survived by his grandsons, Charlie Griffith, IV and Eli Griffith. All services at this time will be private.
