Charles Knight - Obituary

harles Knight, 97, a 2-year resident of Annapolis, MD and previously of Largo, FL died on October 1, 2009 at home. Born August 17, 1909 in Packmoor, England, he was employed at Westinghouse in Hampton, SC for 47 years. Mr. Knight was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Hampton, SC. He was the devoted husband of Cicely L. Knight, whom he married on October 7, 1929; beloved father of Susan tenSiethoff of Annapolis, MD and the late Charles Knight, Jr.; he is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2009 at 4pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD. Interment will be held at a later date in Florida.
