Charles W. Wagner - Obituary

harles W. Wagner of Forestville, MD, went home to be with his Lord on January 26, 2017. He was preceded in death by his parents Myrtle Costenbader and Daniel L. Wagner, twin sister Janie Wagner and sister Betty Jean Wagner. He was a life member of the VFW Post #482 in Forestville and a life member of the Non-Commissioned Officers Association and AMVETS National in Lanham as well as many other organizations. After serving in the U.S. Army during the Korean War, he retired from the Library of Congress with 30 years of service. Charlie was very patriotic and served his country with pride. He also enjoyed hunting and the outdoors. He is survived by Mrs. Blondell Jenkins-Walker, many cousins and friends. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, January 31 at Cedar Hill Cemetery with Rev. Richard Headley officiating with the final resting place in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
