harles “Troy” Wallis, age 53, passed away unexpectedly on October 28, 2021. He was born in Annapolis, Maryland and attended Annapolis Senior High School. Troy grew up in the family floral business, Flowers by James, in Annapolis and went on to pursue a career in the landscaping industry. Employed as a General Manager at John Krause Construction, he was very talented in designing, creating and implementing his client’s visions. Troy was a car enthusiast, loved motorcycles, weight lifting, his family, many friends, and his dog, Max. In addition, he had an unwavering faith in God which took him as far as Peru to aid the community in need. He is survived by his son, Timothy, 33, and daughter, Lauren, 29. He is also survived by siblings, Ronda Miller, Joyce Wood, Tanya Sample, Teresa Knod, and Robert Mabry. In addition to nieces and nephews, he is survived by his father, Charles R. Wallis, and stepfather, Robert Rollins. He was preceded in death by his mother, Phyllis Rollins, and stepmother, Patricia Wallis. A memorial gathering for family and friends will be held on Sunday, November 7 from 1-2:30, followed by a memorial service at 2:30, at Kalas Funeral Home and Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater.
