Charlotte Alexander - Obituary

harlotte Nancy Alexander, 73, a resident of Edgewater and previously a 45 year resident of Beltsville, passed away at her home on Saturday, Aprill 11, 2015. Charlotte was born on march 27, 1942 in Philadelphia, PA to the late Ernest and Lucy Liming and was a 1960 graduate of Bladensburg High School. She worked for Giant Food as a cashier in Silver Spring from 1960-1998. She enjoyed crossword puzzles, reading, shopping and spending time with her grandchildren. She is survived by her children; Kenneth W. Alexander of Edgewater and Sheila L. Alexander of Coconut Creek, FL and her former husband Sonny Alexander. She is also survived by her grandchildren; Brandon Martinez of Eldersburg, MD and Mandy Martinez of Washington, D.C. and one great-granddaughter Isabella A. Martinez. Friends may call at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Thursday, April 16 from 10am until her funeral service begins at 11am. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.
