Cheryl Ann Buck - Obituary

heryl Ann “Cookie” Buck, age 75 and a resident of Edgewater for 45 years, died on July 12, 2022 of congestive heart failure. Born in Altoona, PA on September 19, 1946 to George N. and Myrtle A. Hainley, she graduated from Altoona High School and worked for many years for the State of Maryland as a registered nurse. She was active at the South County Senior Center, and in her spare time, she enjoyed her cats, playing mahjong, watching television and creating artwork on her tablet. In addition to her parents, Cookie was preceded in death by siblings George Robert Hainley and Phyllis Jean Baird. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Ronald Buck; her sister, Betty Lou Trotter of Altoona and numerous nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Cheryl’s name may be made to VCA South Arundel Animal Hospital, 85 W. Central Avenue, Edgewater, MD 21037.
