he beloved husband of the late Betty L. Abendschein; father of Chester B. Abendschein, Jr., Carol Truitt, Barbara A. Jackson and Anita L. Illig; brother of Julia Drance. Also survived by 9 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Services and interment will be private.
