Christabelle Ruth Sutor - Obituary

hristabelle “Chris” Ruth Sutor, 76, a 40-year resident of Anne Arundel County, died on September 14, 2009 at the Mandrin Chesapeake Hospice House in Harwood, MD after a long illness. Born December 25, 1932 in Washington, D.C., she was the co-owner of Colonial Florist, Inc. in Annapolis, MD since 1969. She was extremely talented in the field of floral design and was very artistic-loved art and painting. In her younger years she loved to waterski, play guitar and she has a beautiful singing voice. She was the devoted wife to Edward Lewis Sutor, III, whom she married in 1968; loving mother to Jadene L. Payne and her husband, Scott of Gambrills, MD; sister of Juanita L. Mann of Covington, GA; grandmother of Scott F. Payne, Jr. and Michael S. Payne, both of Gambrills, MD; great-grandmother of Gavin A. Payne. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, September 17, 2009 at 1:30pm at Hillcrest Memorial Chapel, 1911 Forest Drive, Annapolis, MD.
