Christina Marie Browne - Obituary

hristina “Chrissy” Marie Browne, 29, a lifetime resident of Crofton, MD died on December 17, 2009 at Anne Arundel Medical Center unexpectedly in her sleep. Born December 14, 1980 in Annapolis, MD, she graduated from Arundel Senior High School and attended Anne Arundel Community College for Nursing and Dental Assistant Training School in Annapolis, MD. She enjoyed working as a geriatric nursing assistant at Crofton Convalescent Center, where she was frequently recognized for the outstanding care she provided her elderly patients. Chrissy cherished spending time with her two daughters and socializing with her family and friends. She loved trips to Cape Cod, Skyline Drive and Shenandoah National Park and visiting family in Wyoming. She was the beloved daughter of Barbara and Fred Browne of Crofton, MD; devoted mother of Tiana and Taliyah Browne of Crofton, MD; sister of Mary Browne of Crofton, MD; granddaughter of Myrtle Kent of Sheridan, WY, Marian Browne of Parkville, MD and the late Raymond Kent and William B. Browne. Friends are invited to Chrissy's Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Sunday, December 27, 2009 from 2pm until time of funeral service begins at 3pm. Interment private. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hope House, 26 Marbury Road, Crownsville, MD 21032 or a charity of one's choice.
