hristina Psaras “Dinaâ€, age 67, born in Alexandria, Egypt on 10/8/1940, died at her residence in Annapolis, MD on 2/20/08 after a lengthy battle with ovarian cancer. She spent half the year in Annapolis and half the year at her residence in Ft. Myer Beach, FL. She had lived in Annapolis for 8 yrs and previous to that she had lived in Arnold, MD for 22 yrs. She graduated from Alexandria Greek High School in Alexandria, Egypt. She received a degree in Education from English Girls College. She was employed by Annapolis Federal Bank where she was an Assistant Vice President from 1980-94. She was a member of Ss. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Annapolis and of St. Katherine Greek Orthodox Church in Naples, FL. She was a homemaker and she was an avid gardener. She enjoyed international travel and Greek music and was a longtime supporter of St. Jude Children's Research Hospital. Husband- John Psaras of Annapolis & Ft. Myers Beach, FL Son-Michael Psaras of Annapolis, MD Brothers- George and Sophocles Digenis, both of Athens, Greece. Parents -Helen Digenis of Athens, Greece and the late Constantine Digenis. Sister in law-Arista Psaras of Athens, Greece Relatives and friends are invited to Mrs. Psaras' Life Celebration at THE GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD on Monday from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 PM. Funeral service will be held on Tuesday, 2/26/08, at 11:00 AM at Ss. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2747 Riva Rd., Annapolis, MD. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens, Davidsonville, MD.
