Christina Margaret Woolwine - Obituary

hristina Margaret Woolwine, 95, of Manassas, VA, formerly of Upper Marlboro, MD passed away on July 17, 2018. She was born October 3, 1922 to the late John W. Nairn, Sr. and Ruth Lambert of Capitol Heights, MD. Christina was a homemaker and a member of the First Christian of Capitol Heights, MD, which later became the First Christian Church at Brock Hall in Upper Marlboro, MD. Her parents were part of the founders of the Capitol Heights church in 1914. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert Neil Woolwine, Sr., brother, John W. Nairn Jr. and sister, Ruth Gearhart. She is survived by her, daughter, Christina Lee Simpson, and son, Robert Neil Woolwine, Jr. (wife, Fay); six grandchildren, Neil Finotti (wife, Sally), Kimberly Fuller (husband, David), Roxann Thompson (husband, Adam), Robert Woolwine III, Christina Woolwine-Rogers (husband, Robert), and Melanie Woolwine; eleven great grandchildren, Jessica Hardesty (husband, Bradly), Matthew and Daniel Finotti, Christina Fuller, Payton and Raegan Woolwine, Jacob, Cole, and Seth Thompson, and Declan and Mairin Whalen; and three great-great grandchildren, Shelby, Kenneth, and Cali Hardesty. A Celebration of Life will be on Thursday, July 26, 2018 with a viewing at 11:30 a.m. until time of Service at 12:30 p.m. at the First Christian Church at Brock Hall, 2400 Old Largo Rd., Upper Marlboro, MD 20722. Interment will follow at the Cheltenham Veterans Cemetery, 11301 Crain Hwy, Cheltenham, MD 20623.
