Christopher Basiliko - Obituary

hristopher Kanani Basiliko, 46, of Glen Burnie, MD, died on Friday, December 18, 2015. Born May 18, 1965 in Washington, D.C. to Charles and Mercedes Basiliko, Chris would graduate from Bishop McNamara High School and go on to own CB's Lawn and Outdoor Services. He was a member of Our Lady of the Chesapeake in Pasadena, MD and Mt. Calvary Parish in Forestville, MD. Chris was an avid animal lover, who participated in animal rescues and loved his dogs as if they were his children. Chris is survived by his wife of seven years, Jennifer; his parents, Charles and Mercedes of Dunkirk; his three brothers, Anthony of Douglasville, PA, Kevin of Annapolis, and Matthew of Dunkirk, as well as many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to celebrate Chris's life from 1 to 3 and 5 to 8pm on Monday at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 11am on Tuesday, December 22 at Mt. Calvary Catholic Church, 6700 Marlboro Pike, Forestville, MD. Interment will be private.
