Christopher Hagey - Obituary

hristopher Clifton Hagey, a 30-year resident of Bowie, MD, died on Wednesday, December 23, 2015 following a two year battle with cancer. He was 56. Born September 30, 1959 in Philadelphia, PA, to the late Francis and Patricia Hagey, he received his Bachelor degree in Business Administration from the University of Phoenix in 2014. Christopher was currently employed with Holy Cross Home Care and Hospice. He is survived by his daughter, Nicole Luddy of Edgewater, MD; his granddaughter, Angelina Luddy, who was born on December 25, 2015; a brother, David Hagey of North Carolina; four sisters, Ruth Detweiler of Pennsylvania, Robin Pender of North Carolina, Holly Resnick of New York and Marguerite Leecan of Pennsylvania; and his canine companion, Keiko. Friends are invited to a celebration of Christopher's life at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Saturday, January 2 from 10am until his funeral service begins at 11am. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens.
