Christopher Trachy - Obituary

hristopher Thomas Trachy, 29, a resident of Annapolis and formerly of Newark, DE, died on March 3, 2016, at his home. Born on September 3, 1986, in Silver Spring, MD, to Thomas and Chrystallo Trachy; Christopher was a 2004 graduate of Glasgow High School in Newark. He was a member of Ss. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Annapolis and he was a sports fanatic. He especially loved the Redskins and all University of Maryland athletics. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his brother, Andrew Trachy of Annapolis; his sister, Demetra Trachy of Newark, DE; and his grandmother, Demetra Keshes. Friends are invited to celebrate Christopher's life from 5 to 7 pm on Sunday, March 6 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD. Funeral service will be held at 11 am on Monday, March 7 at Ss. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 2747 Riva Rd., Annapolis, MD. Interment St. Demetrios Cemetery in Annapolis.
