Clara Elizabeth Johnson, of Belleville, Ill., and formerly of Annapolis, died of natural causes Oct. 27 at the Dammert Geriatric Center at the National Shrine of Our Lady of the Snows in Belleville. She was 103 years old. Mrs. Johnson was born in Providence Corner in Maryland on Nov. 26, 1903. She worked in the printing industry as a machine operator. On her 100th birthday The Capital published a photograph of her celebration in Annapolis. She was an avid bingo player. The daughter of the late William H. and Annie K. Spratt, Mrs. Johnson was the widow of E. William Johnson and the mother of the late E. Lorraine Schoonmaker of Annapolis. Surviving are one daughter, Norma Graebe of Belleville; 12 grandchildren; 26 great-grandchildren; and ten great-great-grandchildren. A celebration of her life will be held from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, where the funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday. Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. in Riverview Gardens cemetery in Wilmington, Del.
