Clara Adair Robb - Obituary

lara Etta Adair Robb, 101, an 8-year resident of Edgewater and previously of Chillum for 62 years, died of natural causes March 7 in her home. Mrs. Robb was born Nov. 29, 1906, in Clinton, S.C., to the late Mary Ella and William P. Adair. She was an adjudicator with the Federal Government from 1941 to 1969. She was a member of the Daughters of America. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and crossword puzzles. She was preceded in death by her husband, who died in 1962, John Oscar Robb. Survivors include one daughter, Grace Masciarelli of Davidsonville; four grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Family and friends may visit at noon Tuesday, March 11, 2008 Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road in Edgewater. Funeral services will follow at 1 p.m. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Suitland.
