Clara Whittington - Obituary

lara Kathleen Whittington, 93, on Tuesday, May 21, 2013 of Forest Heights, MD died at Pinetree Assisted Living. She was predeceased by her husband, Patrick, age 80 and her daughter, Karen, age 19 days. She is survived by her daughters, Patricia (George) Lauterborn of Oxon Hill and Wanda (John) Hassler of St. Leonard, seven grandchildren, 15 great- grandchildren and two great-great- grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to Clara's Life Celebration on Thursday, May 23 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, P.A, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD. Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 24 at 10 am at Forest Heights Baptist Church, 6371 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill MD. Interment Cedar Hill Cemetery.
