n Tuesday, December 6, 2016 of Fort Washington, MD. Loving mother of Karen (Joel) Acree, George (Lora) Wright, Jr., and Angela (Benjamin) Baker. She is also survived by her sister, Helen Brake and brother, Gurtha Gilchrist, Jr.; five grandchildren, Cornell, George III, Christopher, Toni and Brandon; one sister-in-law, one brother-in-law and a host of other relatives and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to Clara's Celebration of Life on Monday, December 12 from 10 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. with the service starting at 11 a.m. at Hillcrest Baptist Church, 2200 Iverson St., Hillcrest Heights, MD. Interment Fort Lincoln Cemetery.
