Clarence Ray Call - Obituary

larence Ray Call, beloved husband of the late Betty Jo Call, passed away on Monday, June 19, 2017. He is survived by his children, Ron Call, Don (Gale) Call, Mike Call, Steve (Sheila) Call, Lisa Call, Lynda (Jay) Beatty, Ginny Call, and preceded in death by the late Dave (Karen – survived) Call. He is the grandfather of Aaron, Jennifer, Bobbie Jo, Dawn, Melissa, Sarah, Brenda, Margie, Stephanie, Don, Shella, Justin, Brittany, Brian, Travis, Amber, Shannon, Cassie, Jay, Nicholas, Dawn, Brandy, Eddie, and Katelyn. 42 great grandchildren, and one great-great granddaughter, and a host of other relatives and friends also survive him. He was an honorable member of the United States Navy, and worked many years for the Washington Metropolitan Area Transit Authority. “Papa’s” Life Celebration will be held on Thursday, June 22, 2017 from 2-4pm and 6-8pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill, MD where services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2017 at 12:30pm. Interment Maryland Veterans Cemetery, Cheltenham, MD.
