layron Carter Inman, 83, a 2-year resident of Annapolis, MD and previously of Potomac, MD for 43 years died on January 6, 2010 at Anne Arundel Medical Center of pneumonia.
Born September 1, 1926 in Chatham, VA, she was raised in Mt. Airy, NC. Clayron was employed as a school secretary in Montgomery County for many years and also enjoyed being a homemaker. She was a longtime member of Faith United Methodist Church in Rockville, MD and most recently was a member of Calvary United Methodist Church in Annapolis, MD. Clayron loved spending time with her family, travelling, volunteer work, playing bridge and was very active in her church.
She was the beloved wife of 42 years to the late Jack Somers Inman, who died on November 18, 1993; mother of Susan Richardson of Roanoke, VA, Nancy Inman and Beverly Hay both of Annapolis, MD; sister of Virginia Marion of Mt. Airy, NC. She is also survived by 4 grandchildren and 1 great-grandson.
Graveside service and interment will be held on Saturday, January 9, 2010 at 11am at Parklawn Memorial Park, 12800 Veirs Mill Road, Rockville, MD. A memorial service will follow at 3pm at the Friendship Hall at Ginger Cove, 4000 River Crescent Drive, Annapolis, MD. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the Kennedy-Krieger Assistive Technology Fund, 707 North Broadway, Baltimore, 21205 or a charity of one's choice. Arrangements by George P.
