Connie Fair - Obituary

onnie J. Fair, 77, a resident of Waldorf, Maryland, passed away on Friday, May 11, 2012 at her daughter’s Maryland residence. Born November 25, 1934 in Robertson County to the late Sam and Stella Merrill. She found beauty in everything from a rock to a piece of wood. She loved sun shine, a rainy day and especially loved to watch it snow. She loved walking the beaches of Florida and looking for sea shells. I will never go into the woods and not think of her. She loved flowers and always said flowers had feelings. She always had flowers in her yard and loved to pick a bouquet of flowers to send home with friends. She was a true and loyal friend. She was patriotic and proud to be an American. Wherever she lived she had the American flag flying. Her survivors include one daughter, Pamela (John) Brandts of Waldorf, Maryland and one son, Michael (Kathy) Clayton of Bethel, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her eldest son, Mark Clayton. Also survived by her grandchildren: Brian (Dawn) Brandts, Greg Brandts, Michael Clayton, Sarah Clayton and Samantha Clayton; and her great-grandchildren: Sierra and Alaya Brandts and Aubree Clayton. A memorial service will be held at at later date.
