Conrado R. Flores - Obituary

onrado R. Flores, 90, of Fort Washington, MD passed away on March 24, 2018. Conrado was born on December 1, 1927 to the late Alejandro Rodriguez Flores and Leodegaria Biglang-Awa Ravago in the Philippines. Predeceased brother, Laureano and sisters Ely, Lucila, and Soledad. Conrado retired as a purchaser at the Stanford University Food Services. He enjoyed baseball, sharp shooting, bird hunting, and classical music. Conrado is predeceased by his wife, Alfonsa, son, Joseph, and adopted daughter, Aurora Johnson Jones. Conrado is survived by his Children, Eudoxia Flores, Hermilinia Pineda, Alejandrino Flores, Conrado Flores, Jr., Bernardino Flores, Lourdes Liberty Rodriguez, Danilo Flores, Felix Flores, Millie Flores Kristiansen, Wilfreda Enjambre Atakurah, 20 Grandchildren, 17 Great-Grandchildren, and 3 Great-Great Grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to Conrado’s Life Celebration on April 2, 2018 from 2 to 4 pm & 6 to 8 pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 6160 Oxon Hill Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 10:30 am at St. Columba Catholic Church, 7804 Livingston Road, Oxon Hill, MD 20745. Interment will follow at the St. Mary’s Catholic Church of Piscataway Cemetery, 13401 Piscataway Road, Clinton, MD 20735.
