Crisanta Mendoza - Obituary

risanta "Antang" Galitan Mendoza was born in the Philippines on September 3, 1935. She entered Heaven’s gates on Saturday, September 26, 2015. A consummate mother and homemaker, Nanay Antang as she is fondly called was an excellent cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends. Nanay Antang had an unwavering faith in God. She was an active member of the San Roque Parish Church in the Philippines. Over the years, she had become very involved with the church and assisted with numerous fundraising events. Nanay Antang is survived by her daughter Imelda and son Salvador. The family will receive friends on Monday,September 28, 2015 from 2:00pm until 9:00 PM at the GEORGE P. KALAS FUNERAL HOME, 6160 Oxon Hill Rd., Oxon Hill MD. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held at 7:00 pm. Interment will be at the discretion of the family.
