Cynthia Jewel - Obituary

ynthia “Cindy” Bryan Jewel, 53, a 6-year resident of Annapolis and previously of Mitchellville, died of pancreatic cancer October 7 at Anne Arundel Medical Center. She was born July 4, 1958 in Camden, NJ to the late William and Margaret Stewart and graduated from Bowie High School. Cindy enjoyed gardening, music, dining out and traveling, especially taking trips to Atlantic City and Caribbean Ocean Islands. Most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her husband, children and grandchildren. She was predeceased by a brother, Billy Stewart. In addition to her husband, William P. Jewel, Cindy is survived by one son, William P. Jewel, Jr. of Bowie; two daughters, Jackie Zagami of Edgewater and Lauren Jewel of Annapolis; one sister, Muffie Andruczyk; and two grandchildren, Cameron and Katelynn Zagami. Friends are invited to Cindy’s Life Celebration on Saturday, October 15 from 2PM until the funeral service begins at 3PM at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
