Dale Hall - Obituary

ale A. Hall, 69, of Odenton, MD died December 6, 2010 at the Mandrin Chesapeake Hospice House of natural causes. Born February 12, 1941 in Baltimore, MD to the late Florence R. and Owen A. Hall, he graduated from the University of Baltimore with a bachelor’s degree in Marketing. Dale was discharged from the U.S. Naval Reserves in 1969. Dale was employed as the CEO/CFO of O.T. Hall & Son, Inc. He was a member of the Crabtowne Skiers and was a longtime supporter of the VIP Kid’s Network and SCORE. Dale’s hobbies included dancing, weekends in Ocean City, mentoring and spending time with friends and family. He is survived by his children, Kimberly Susan Hall and her fiancé, Jason L. Smith of Annapolis, MD and Kevin Alan Hall and his fiancé, Melissa A. Golob of Arnold, MD; two brothers, Glen E. Hall of Sykesville, MD and Gary B. Hall of Reisterstown, MD; his former wife, Linda Susan Hall of Arnold, MD. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to Dale’s Life Celebration at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD on Thursday, December 9 from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8pm, where services will be held on Friday, December 10 at 1pm. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made in his memory to Hospice of the Chesapeake, 445 Defense Highway, Annapolis, MD 21401.
