Daniel Porter - Obituary

aniel R. Porter, 23, a 2-year resident of Friendship, MD and previously of Crofton, MD, died at his residence on April 15, 2010. Born March 18, 1987 in Silver Spring, MD, he graduated from South River High School. During high school, Daniel was Assistant Captain of the South River Hockey Team. He was a member of Opportunity Builders, Inc. His hobbies included hockey, football, working out, music, hanging out with his friends, movies and loved the Washington Capitals and St. Louis Rams. Daniel was forever loved and adored by his family and will always be in their hearts. Danny is survived by his parents, Kevin and Patricia Porter of Friendship, MD; his sister, Tiffany Nicole Kronk of Deale, MD; his grandparents, Rosie and Joe Chavez, Dewey and Alicia Porter and Brad and Cheryl Oliver; his nieces, Gianna and Mia Kronk, he is also survived by numerous aunts and uncles. Friends are invited to Danny's Life Celebration at St. Patrick Catholic Church, 619 Tenth Street, N.W., Washington, DC 20001 on Monday, April 19, 2010 from 9am until time of funeral Mass begins at 10am. Interment private.
