Daniel Siehl - Obituary

aniel Siehl, 74, a resident of Riva, MD for over 43 years died on June 23, 2008 at the Mandrin Chesapeake Hospice House in Harwood, MD of cancer after a two and a half year illness. Born on June 18, 1934 in Cleveland, Ohio, he served in the United States Army from 1956-1958. He was employed as a programmer with ARINC from 1979-1993, he retired in 1993. His hobbies include woodworking, the outdoors and was a volunteer with the Department of Natural Resources. Beloved husband of the late Barbara L. Siehl, who he married in March of 1959 and she died in August of 1979; Father of Michael Siehl of Riva, MD and Susan Marx of Grasonville, MD; brother of Edith Siehl of Bedford, OH. Survived by two grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 26, 2008 at 11:30 A.M. at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD. Interment Lakemont Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the charity of ones choice.
