Daniel Turley - Obituary

aniel B. Turley, "Danny", 48, of Forestville, died March 18 at Anne Arundel Medical Center in Annapolis. Born on March 18, 1964, in Washington, DC to Hugh and Evelyn Turley, Danny was a carpenter with Local Carpenter's Union 1145 for more than twenty years. He enjoyed spending time with his children, working on cars and trucks with his son, Brandon, watching football - especially the Redskins - and of course working extremely hard. In addition to his parents, Danny is survived by his former wife, Rhonda Turley; his son, Brandon Turley of Annapolis; four daughters, Jenna Turley of Annapolis, and Shannon, Cara and Alyssa Turley, all of Ridgeley, WV; three brothers, Pat Turley of Churchton, John Turley of Waldorf and Hugh Turley of Hagerstown; and two sisters, Anne Dillon of Dunkirk and Shelia Turley of Glen Burnie. Friends are invited to Daniel's Life Celebration from 1 to 3 p.m. on Thursday, March 22 at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater. A reception in the Annapolis area will follow from 4 to 7 p.m. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Turley Memorial Fund, 69 Mayo Rd., Ste. 204, Edgewater, MD 21037.
