Danielle Christine Sheldon - Obituary

anielle (Danyell) Christine Sheldon passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 30, 2017. Born on May 14, 1975 in Washington, DC, Danielle and her family moved to a home on the Chesapeake Bay in Annapolis in time for her to start kindergarten at Cape St. Claire. She graduated from Annapolis High School and attended Anne Arundel Community College. Danielle was an animal lover of the highest degree. She spent many years working at the SPCA and was especially good at matching animals with families. She also worked at Anne Arundel Animal Control, she loved her work and gave it her all. Danielle was preceded in death by her sister, Laura Sheldon and her father, Donald Sheldon. Danielle is survived by her mother, Helen Marple; her nephew, Lauson Sheldon; her long time partner, Justin Nimmo and many relatives and friends. Friends are invited to celebrate Danielle's life on Friday, May 12 from 2 to 4 pm at the George P. Kalas Funeral Home, 2973 Solomons Island Rd., Edgewater, MD.
