Darlene “Dee” Rose Schatz, 58, a 6-year resident of Annapolis, MD and previously of Linthicum, MD passed away on March 8, 2025 at her home after a 5-month battle with cancer. Born on May 30, 1966 in Baltimore, MD to the late Bernard and Rachel Schatz, Dee enjoyed her career as a Reiki Master and owner of Divine Energy. She is survived by her children, Adam and Amanda Hay of Annapolis, MD; her brothers, Bernard of Ellicott City, MD and Thomas of Baltimore, MD; and her sisters, Virginia of Chesterfield, VA, Pauline of Pasadena, MD, and Rebecca of Catonsville, MD. Friends and family are invited to celebrate Dee’s life on Tuesday, March 11 from 1-3 and 5-7 pm at the Kalas Funeral Home & Crematory, 2973 Solomons Island Road, Edgewater, MD, where her funeral service will be held the following day, on Wednesday, March 12 at 11:30 am.
